How do I test electric trailer brakes? - electric brakes

I must find a way to test the electric brakes on a trailer, which sat for a few years without a truck in the vicinity. Is there somewhere a gimmick or a way to activate the brake, without a car?

has an explanation for the differences between the systems of hydraulic and electrical braking power to the trailer.

AISI explains how LAN, and solve problems in both the trailer and the sides of the trailer.

The best way to test the trailer brakes to draw well with a vehicle. If there is no available vehicle a jack both wheels and spin and then someone else for 12 volts to the wire center of the trailer connector is usually measured a red wire of 10. The 12 volts will motivate the magnet and should stop, take OK when they work. Good luck

applies only to the 12 volts for a short time, have no power over them for too long as time will tell whether they would be free or imprisoned, I am not surprised they are not d is not used "after some time, ask someone to observe to see if voltage is applied, to see if they really all that good step happiness

So she put on 12 volts. This is not rocket science. There is only one electromagnet is the beginning of the work. The trailer must be rolled to operate.

With this control you can be sure that during the trip. This is the easiest way to test them.

Since RUN ON normally a 12V charger, and run an EXT. IT OUT cable, according ACTVATE The Son of Light. Just be sure not to burn
